MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

The value of being a member of CAMPS is the power associated with being a part of a network of manufacturers, supply chain partners, pre-qualified business advisors, and strategic partners.

Value Proposition

  • CAMPS provides the connections to establish business relationships among its members, sharing in a culture of innovation, and assistance identifying supply chain requirements and opportunities in emerging industries, technologies, products, processes and finding pre-qualified partners to implement sustainable solutions.

  • CAMPS will continue to grow and clarify the focus towards innovation, supply chain development, and working together with other organizations to find solutions to skilled workforce challenges.

  • Membership is based on an application and approval process. Each applicant company or organization must meet with the CAMPS leadership team to ensure they understand and support the mission of CAMPS

  • Possesses capabilities that bring value to CAMPS in a single or collective role

  • Indicate a willingness to participate in CAMPS initiatives

  • Willingness to be open to innovation (industries, products, processes, & technologies)

  • Recognizes the importance of advancing workforce development

Manufacturing Member

A manufacturing entity is any company defined by North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) within the numerical ranges from 31 through 33 as outlined by the 2007 NAICS Tables. Any eligible manufacturing business entity registered in Washington State.

Supply Chain Member

A Supply Chain member is a company who engages with manufacturers within their supply chain to provide components, services, or finished products. Any eligible company who engages with manufacturers within their supply chain to provide materials, components, services, or finished products.

Associate Member

Associate Membership would be available for non-manufacturers (suppliers, consultants, and service providers), to provide access to the manufacturing members for use of their goods and services.  Associate Memberships will be limited to a ratio of two manufacturers or supply chain members; to one Associate Member.   Associate Members must submit full credentials and capabilities to CAMPS to substantiate their membership as being advantageous to manufacturer or supply chain members.  Associate members must be pre-qualified by CAMPS criteria, prior to acceptance of membership. Non-Profit and Not for Profit entities who join for the purpose of securing business opportunities fit into the Associate Member classification.

  • Government organizations, such as Federal, State, City, and other local entities. This also includes economic development councils, workforce development councils, ports, and other bodies who have an interest to connect with private entity businesses to support their mission.

  • Education bodies, such as public universities, community colleges, technical colleges, K-12 education bodies, and private education organization. These entities have a vested interest to connect with private sector companies to provide company sponsored training and also to access employees who can become students.

  • Non-Profit entities, such as education and vocational rehab. Agencies that focus on specific populations, physical conditions, or specialized focuses.

Affiliate Member

An Affiliate Membership will be offered to cooperating public or nonprofit entities that have a strategic relationship with CAMPS and its members. Affiliate members can be a government organization, education institutions, or a nonprofit entity. The following further defines these three entities organizations.

  • Government organizations, such as Federal, State, City, and other local entities. This also includes economic development councils, workforce development councils, ports, and other bodies who have an interest to connect with private entity businesses to support their mission.
